BY PLANE

Most international travelers fly into Hamburg Airport (HAM), which is well connected to cities across Europe and beyond. From the airport, take the local S-Bahn S1 train to Hamburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) — about a 20 min ride — or use local buses or a taxi to reach central Hamburg and onward connections.

BY TRAIN

Hamburg is connected to other European cities via long-distance rail (e.g., Deutsche Bahn). Trains often stop at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof or other main stations in the city.

BY CAR

Getting from Grand Elysée Hotel to TUHH and vice versa

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Walk from TUHH campus to the Harburg Rathaus station (5-10 min).
Take the S-Bahn S5 (heading towards Diebsteich, Stellingen, or Elbgaustraße).
Get off at Dammtor station (journey ~18 min). 
From there, it's a short walk (5-10 min) to the Grand Elysée Hotel.
