Founded in 1978, Hamburg University of Technology is the scientific home of approx. 900 researchers (~100 of them professors) and a place of learning for more than 7.500 students. The Campus is in the South of Hamburg, well connected to public transport, and offers everything the students could wish for. Besides lecture halls, class and study rooms, there is a parc lake to hang out and barbecue in summer, a cafeteria to get lunch as well as several cafés - one of them run by the students themselves - to meet up for a coffee or a bite to eat.
